My room was incredibly clean and well-stocked with necessities. The rooms are small, but is the perfect size for lodging alone or with another person. This hotel really shines with the service it provides. Joshua and Kay at the front desk really made my experience in New York easy. They were easy to talk to, pleasant, and capable of providing info about the city. Would recommend to any solo trip

Enjoyable Stay Yet Again
It's a 3 star hotel on a cute street lined with restaurants, just steps away from Broadway and Times Square. What more do you need for a quick weekend getaway?! The towels were very soft -- surprisingly soft. The shampoo/conditioner were of high quality -- the same brand as the Algonquin uses. The room we booked - 2 twin beds -- was of adequate size (it's NYC so rooms are gonna be small unless you book 4.5 or 5 star hotels...and even then it's a coin toss.) The bathroom was tiny but well laid out. The beds were comfortable. We slept very well. The staff was very very helpful. Great deal for January travel. $99 a night for a hotel room near times square with 2 beds -- unheard of. Keep in mind that January is by far the cheapest month to visit NYC -- with both hotel and flights -- due to the normally icy weather. You won't find this hotel for this price any other month of the year. In peak times, a room our size goes up to $260 a night. Some things for improvement: 1. When we turned on the shower, a smell like gravel dust infiltrated the bathroom. Like a concrete pipe or something....very odd. 2. The windows are very nice but they're not sound proof windows. Car alarms woke us up twice, so bring earplugs. 3. We decided to get some breakfast before checking out. I thought it would be easier to bring the luggage down at 10:30 am, before breakfast, so we could just pull it from the closet and dash to LGA. When I went down to check out, they checked me out but then told me it was $2 to store each bag for the hour we needed it stored. Ridiculous. So i asked to store it in the room and they said we were already checked out. Luckily, our friend was staying an additional night (in a tiny single bed petite room) but despite his room size, he offered to let us put the luggage there. Just really ridiculous policy. If Fairfield Marriott (another comparative 3 star hotel) told me it would cost $2 per luggage piece to store...well....that just wouldn't happen. Never

Perfect location at an ...
Perfect location at an affordable, reasonable price. Comfy bed and clean bathroom. Size of the room is rather small. The staff was very nice, too
