Rooms are extremely small ...

Rooms are extremely small but serve their purpose. Location is great and staff was friendly. The hotel is older but for the price you can't beat it. Manhattan is extremely pricy, be prepared to spend a bundle and not necessarily be enthused about what you get

Does anyone know if ...

Does anyone know if I can request a six-month lease at the W&J Hotel and become a permanent rent-stabilized tenant? I think that if you do this, the landlord can't make you leave without a court order and you get the low stabilized rent. I think this actually happened at the W&J Hotel but for some reason it never happened again
