Location is great for ...

Location is great for my travel purposes and subway lines are nearby. Front desk staff has been extremely helpful and friendly, check-in was quick and easy. Room was clean, but as other reviewers said, our queen room was quite small (not really a big deal to us). Toiletries are nice! Our biggest issue was something that the hotel can't do anything about - there is a lot of noise from the street. Every night were woken up multiple times between 1am and 5am by (homeless?) people yelling and/or fighting in the street. This is probably not a problem in the back of the hotel, but is a big annoyance in a street-facing third floor room

This is a great ...

This is a great option for the economical traveller - a superiorly located, friendly and tidy hotel. The single rooms are tiny, but perfectly formed - and besides, what do you want to do in your room when you're in such a fantastic place as New York city?!
