super bowl There is a lot of excitement around town with The Super Bowl less than a week away.  I know it is cold outside after all it is New York City in January.   Since some of you are not fans of the cold  we wanted to share with you some “Super Bowl” activities that are indoors.

The Children’s Museum of Manhattan and the National Football League have created an interactive program and exhibit at CMOM to celebrate Super Bowl XLVIII. In the now open exhibit, children and their families get a behind-the-scenes look at NFL officiating. Programs, exhibits and clinics—including NFL’s Play60 youth health and fitness initiative—help families learn how decision-making and physical fitness lead to valuable leadership and social skills. The experience is on view thru the end of February. 212 W. 83rd St., btw Amsterdam Ave. & Broadway, 212.721.1223-cmom.org.

Head to Madame Tussauds New York to see Blitz and Glam! Legends of the Big Game Exhibit, on view Jan. 21 thru Feb. 2, 2014. This limited-time exhibit features legendary quarterbacks (think Eli Manning and Joe Montana) and divas that rocked the stadiums, including Whitney Houston and Madonna—both donned in outfits worn during their Super Bowl performances. The exhibit is located in the attraction’s Sports Zone. 234 W. 42nd St., btw Seventh & Eighth aves., 866.841.3505 madametussauds.com/NewYork.
