A nice change from eating at my desk.

maria pia 1With the Super bowl behind us  we wanted to continue to make recommendations while you are staying at the Washington Jefferson Hotel. I have had the opportunity to go out to eat not once but twice in the last couple of weeks.  Which was a nice change from eating at my desk.

For this blog, I wanted to recommend one of the restaurants that we work very closely with and is a staff favorite.   Maria Pia, an Italian Restaurant located across the street from the Hotel.  I occasionally go there for lunches with clients but this time I went for dinner.  Although I always recommend Maria Pia,  to guests and friends, I rarely get to eat dinner there.  When I do go I usually order the same thing Pasta or Steak but this time I chose a white fish from the Specials.  I have to admit I love it.   I guess I really need to listen to the specials more.  The food is reasonably priced and I would suggest the Prix Fix Lunch or  Prix Fix Dinner. Oh and fried calamari as an appetizer.   http://nycrg.com/maria-pia

Enjoy. Let us know if you try Maria Pia.  Remember the WJ is the place to stay.

Keeping that in mind, we want to make sure that you make the most of your stay at the WJH and experience all that New York has to offer during your time with us.

We would like the blog to be a place for sharing, and communicating with us, the WJH team.
